Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

Nothing says Censored you like a Censored you 7
Probably the most disappointing car I have ever been in Sad
The ride is stiff and jarring but still doesn't handle like an X5 or Cayenne,
It's enormous but offers remarkably little space and feels positively cramped up front,
Audis famous interior quality is there but its a bit plain and soulless.
And finally , do you look like a soccer mom? Laughing 2008 MY Supercharged
Rimini Red / Jet
four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.
magnus satis quod turpis satis

Which 22" wheels can we have on the LWB now?

Probably big shiny chrome ones designed for the Chinese and Russian markets. Isn't that where the LWB will sell? Thud

2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black

Well personally I'm buying one because it handles no differently and the cost is minimal over a well specced SWB SDV8 Autobiography.

Even on a £100k plus car I would not call the £7600 extra minimal. Even if you were getting the most expensive RSE and front seats it's still a thick £4500. You have got to spending a lot of time sat in the back to justify that. I don't think I could when I rarely have adult rear passengers and never sit in the back myself. I would also be concerned about it sticking out of parking spaces and fitting it in my garage which would be a squeeze with the extra length Laughing

The extra length isn't noticeable when driving at all and it fits in my garage and other parking spaces with relative ease. I was also concerned about this but had one for a few days and it fitted into my routine quite nicely.

United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

The LWB looks less attractive though Whistle The rear doors are too long and it just isn't as fluid as the standard car IMO Thumbs Up Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
Gone: Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, Zambezi Silver, Charcoal Oxford Leather
Also: Mk1 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro, Brilliant Black

I struggle to see the benefit unless you are being chauffeured around in the back (which is why it's been developed primarily ) Now if they had used the extra length to add some more space in the front as well or in the boot I would find it more useful.

Product brief

I'm trying to get hold of the 'product brief' given to dealers to see the full extent of the changes. My guess there will also be a few 'enhancements' like removing standard options etc as there were last year!

If you get it please post here.

To be honest, I don't like mine. I am a chauffeur in London and as it has been noted the rear doors are huge, the ride quality is not very good and is back in for the (hopefully) revised suspension today for the fourth time They say you can put 22 inch rims on it now , but IDE go down to 20's

Gremlin, can you keep us updated on the suspension work. What was actually done and fitted. Also how it rides after the 'fix' and then after say 400 miles or so.

I had 20 inch wheels hoping for a better ride quality. Regret to say it's uncomfortable and as a result, I do not like this vehicle either. I expected better, but I do believe LR will resolve this matter at some point soon.

That ride issue when fixed would make me happy, as all else is so far working very well.

The size of the wheels has very little impact in my view. The ride if you have the suspension issue is awful regardless of the wheel size on the ones that I have driven. Now mine has the new valve block the ride on 22s is as good as my 2010 was on 20s.

2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

Interestingly (or not), the revised V8 diesel in the facelifted Cayenne isn't Euro 6 compliant either (still has a load more torque than the SDV8 though). Wonder if that's confirmation that its time is up.

Petrol hybrid is now plug-in, something JLR can't offer.
