2 mph for 4.5 hours, which under tacho law is the max allowable in one stint would equate to 9 miles difference, or about 10 minutes at 55 mph. It really isn't worth overtaking for.

NO excuse for the behaviour of the car driver - he doesn't deserve to have the priviledge of driving on our roads. (and it will only be a matter of time before he kills someone - and it ususally isn't themselves they kill)!!

I spent 5 years up and down the A34 (Rugeley to HMS Collingwood in Fareham and Back, down early Mon morning - no problem , back friday afternoon - nightmare!!

At the time i had a 200TDi Defender, and used to run at 55mph, as the diffeence in time over the 180 mile journey between doing 55 and getting 33mpg, or doing 70 and getting 25mpg was about 15 mins end to end.

Don't see ANY justifiaction for this guys behaviour whatsoever - I will let a lorry out to overtake where i can, in heavy traffic like on the A34 you are only going to go 200 yards before getting stuck behind something lse anyhow, so why lose the plot? 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)
