groan .(((..more problems | |
OK so hopefully someone can help here please ...
My abs ecu decided to short circuit and fry my multi plug and wires a few weeks ago so i ordered the replacement loom that was part of the LR recall ( 2003 td6) , all the wires matched up apart from one of the wheel sensor wires which had a different tracer wire but seemed to match up .
I ordered another ABS pump from flea bay but the the numbers are slightly different but didn't think it would make a difference as from the same year of rr as mine.
Numbers are
584145 0 265 950 056 old
287298 0 265 950 056 new
So put it all back on and fired it up but got a steering angle sensor initialization error with some other codes on the ID tool ,( used the beta version 3 software to do this ,cheers to the GAP boys for product support ..SPOT ON !!)
SO recalibrated it but still got no Air suspension and abs /hdc fault.
Here is the codes i have coming up
Lateral acceleration open circuit
yaw rate sensor open circuit
ABS ecu coding error
EAS system , can bus error
Instrument pack ,acoustic transmitter fault
bd-ebv function fault received from abs ecu
the following codes only came up after recalibrating the steering angle.
Lateral acceleration open circuit
yaw rate sensor open circuit
ABS ecu coding error
Now before i recalibrated the the steering sensor i was checking the wiring according to the rave to double check , the wiring to the pin numbers on the new multiplug don't all match up with that of the Rave ? as in it says for example wire A should go to pin 5 etc etc ?
Have i got the wrong ABS ecu ? is that whats causing the problems?
Sorry for such a lot winded post .((( its doing my head in
