United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
L322 mk111 Deployable Side Steps

Hi folks,

I'm part exchanging my 2009 (2010 model) Vogue SE for a newer vehicle and would like to remove the Deployable Side Steps for future sale.
Is there anyone around who could advise if this is straightforward?
Any vehicle re-programming required?

Anyone in the Exeter or Devon area who might want to help with a view to purchasing at reduced cost in reflection of the help?

Any and All guidance/advice very greatly appreciated.

Regards,

the steps themselves are very easy ,just undo the bolts basically but the harness and ecu are in amongst the trim so it might be worth to leave that unless someone savvy has the knowledge to take it out .. ... - .- -.

I won't be able to help personally in removal (my OH might, I'll ask him later) and we would be interested in possibly purchasing them off you if/when selling?

Hello gg201,

I'll be taking them off during the course of tomorrow and probably Friday.
I have to go to Plymouth this Friday so if I have them removed completely, then they are available and open to offers.
All components will be removed that form the kit and I confirm that both steps are fully functional and have been fitted to my vehicle from collection at Roger Young's in Saltash 4 years or so ago.

If you would like them, then you as the first to show interest will have them - at the right price of course.

All the very best,

GG2201 they won't fit your car Whistle They only work with cars after 2007 which had a different ECU.

I did consider them in the past but was told it was not possible Thumbs Up Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
Gone: Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, Zambezi Silver, Charcoal Oxford Leather
Also: Mk1 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro, Brilliant Black

Hi Stan,

The whole kit is now removed.
Harnesses complete, roof switch, ECU, bolts spacer and steps etc.

No problem, just took my time and worked through methodically.
