Yeah I watched this with great interest. The fact that he survived cancer and was even able to compete at top level regardless of doping is an achievement beyond belief. I was amazed at the risk and level of blood doping, steroid use etc that was (and still is) going on, the lengths that people went to was almost a sport in it's own right.

I still admire what lance achieved, I could take the same drugs and train as hard as he did and I would probably be 100 times less successful, you still need genetics, effort and skill on your side after all.

I know one thing though, he put the nails into his own coffin, nobody believes a word that comes out of his mouth, he is a professional and very intimidating lier after all. 2009's mountain stage 3rd position and abnormal red blood cell count followed by his denial/plea of innocence is proof if that.

By the way I'm no cycling expert, I don't follow the your but was interested in the story and training / doping side of things.

Stevey , thats what I found interesting, ' someone on drugs was going to win so why not me'.. incredible and sort of ruins the whole sport for a non-cyclist Thumbs Up

I know! To be fair though his philosophy was spot on, cheating is cheating so I might as well be the best. The punishment for half cheating is the same.

In a perverse way I agree, however he got in so deep he believed his own lies, anyway he will still be in history good or bad Thumbs Up

Agreed, and with a few million quid in his back pocket. Oh it's also worth commending him for the effort he puts in with charity work for sick children Thumbs Up

I'd like to challenge him to a race. With his record, my plan would to to use the FFRR rather than a bicycle. Mr. Green

I think what bugs me the most is the way he went after those telling the truth for so long.
