I had the same problem with the nearside rear and just had the wheel alignment checked adn it was out significantly compared to the others, hence the wear. It cost £85 +vat so cheaper than a tyre and probbaly accounted for the 5% reduction in fuel economy I have had over the last few months. |

May not just be the tracking/alignment, more likely the out of alignment and consequently tyre wear caused by worn upper and lower hub bushes. I had the same wear problem, new bushes, then alignment, and hey presto. May be also worth changing the tracking arm?

So I too have noticed I am scrubbing the shoulders of all my tyres - now it could (ahem) be my driving style or the tyres (Toyo proxy ST2). Now wondering if bushes and alignment as well. Hmmmmm "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
