the WHOLE car !!!!

Mine had all the stock piano parts so I just did a few extra bits...buy a roll thats 450mm wide and maybe only a metre or so...cost's buttons in comparison....

Conor - not done the rear, too awkward to make it look a reasonable job...I am planning a template maybe using some thin paper...if I do (which wont be for a while as am out of the UK for a while) I will post it up  Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Piano black, sure looks like good ol' gloss black in photos. Mines Piano black and looks different to yours, or is mine another black, has a slight grain in it.  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

If the parts are removable I'd suggest painting them. I only used wrap on the bits I couldn't remove. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Your right Nick as good as the wrap looks I haven't been happy knowing that's it's all wrapped. With that in mind I have been busy removing wrap and am now in the process of painting. I have done a few parts including the panel above the upper glovebox all in gloss black with 8 coats of lacquer. I have to say its looks factory with a real mirror finish. It's a lot of work but worth it and I always like to have a little project on the FF. Pictures to follow once completed  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

How did you get the panel above glove box out....thats the onyl place my wrap has bubbled....like you I have sprayed some bits now and with a mountain of laquer layers it looks  Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

You open glove box remove left vent and you will see it is held in by a single screw remove that and then pull out towards you held in by two clips. I removed the range rover badge and cleaned underneath to remove sticky residue. Don't be tempted to put badge back on until you have fully sprayed panel sanded and compounded and polished Otherwise polish gets under badge ask me how I know so had to be done again. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

So I bought this air freshener and hung it on the left indicator stalk....and it's removed the topcoat off the steering binnacle....so after stripping them off to see what could be done I now find myself stripping the "wrap" bits off, priming and prepping for some gloss black and laquer then overnight "heat"....

Mmm well after your advice i did the front ashtray. For a simple piece if trim it was a nightmare as i was over confident. I have had to do it twice and although it looks good im still not happy with it. Lacquer needs at least 36 hours before sanding. The journey continues  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Update....upper glove box panel done, gave the RR badge a tickle of sparkle silver and laquer too...

Also do the steering binnacle after the air freshener problem and it's ok....but I have now hit the wall on piano black....I'm done, it's enough and looks good. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
