Would be tempted to check the alternator voltage output. If it's on its way out, it may be putting just enough juice into the battery to keep it charged, but not giving enough that the electronics are going haywire.

Do you do short journeys? FF's don't like those short runs. I had a similar fault even with a new battery fitted! All I have done is charge the battery on charger and no fault has reappeared and this was months ago when it was wet and cold. These FFs do like a batteries though, worth checking what out put your getting from the alternator. If it dont work.......burn it!

I have been doing very short journeys of late, no more than about 3 miles. Nursing an injury so can't use my motorbike at the moment.

I had the same message pop up last week. I hadn't used the FF for a few days, prior to this was 2 short 4 mile journeys and then it was parked on the drive, I took it for a good run and put the battery on trickle charge, so far so good, (touching wood here). 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 on Gas
