Nope, I haven't had one since 1982, I only ever missed one programme (Top Gear ) but now I can watch whatever takes my fancy on the BBC iPlayer. Got rid of it as it was proving too much of a distractions when I was doing my professional exams, then I moved house and decided to see how long I could go without one. I have become a raving radio 4 fan and it is amazing how of the BBC comedy shows on TV were first aired as Radio 4 comedy on the radio. Must admit most of them were much better on the radio too................. you had to use your imagination much more! When the BBC made them televisual they had to introduce new characters to most and that has spoiled them. Little Britain was truly great on radio but it was spoiled when made televisual. I cannot get a decent signal on the FFRR Hybrid system on my drive so it's not that useful a system for me. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

We have a TV but rarely watch "live" TV. Mostly old series, old films...

It could be worse DC, you could have been Armish and still in denial of all things using machines to operate them, how could you live without a power adjusted steering column or remote central locking.................. or having to feed a horse to pull your FFRR along the road.................... 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

I didn't save much, if anything by having no TV. For a while I must have been Amazon's best customer in the days when they only sold books! These days I have graduated to Audible books from audible.co.uk and download them into my iphone/ipad and laptop to listen too when The Archers has started it's 3rd repeat of the week and there's nothing worth listening to on Classic FM! I have a 7mx 2.5m wall in my lounge just covered in books and there was just space to put my 27" iMac in the corner of one shelf. Still buy loads of books but generally if I don't get the audible version then I go to Waterstones and can spend several hours browsing there a week. Oh and did I mention that I now have a computer of one sort or another (Mac, PC, windows Laptop, Iphone,Ipad................... and they are all wireless networked) in each room of the house (except the bathroom) 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
