What a pointless car. Fastest Range Rover - why not posh-est Citroen, or tallest Porche, or widest motorcycle.

2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

Point of it is to sell and make them money, which it will. Plenty of Cayenne Turbos around.

A standard Range Rover is entirely pointless for 99% of people who have them - no need for off-road ability, no need for lugging 4WD hardware around, no need for a low-range box (hence becoming optional now), no need for high CofG, no need to weigh 2.5 tonnes etc.

Current popularity of SUVs is just fashion and image.
