I am amazed that someone has not come up with a handbrake mod for the old L322, the issue seems to centre around the self adjuster under the console because lets face it handbrake technology has not change much so why is the L322 handbrake so ineffective,............mine improved with new rear discs and handbrake shoes but its still has to be pulled far too high with far to many clicks to hold the car................. |

The manual says to tighten up the adjusters then back off the 3 clicks, I backed mine off just enough for the disc to rotate (one, maybe two clicks) This gives me a workable handbrake. |
