I love how my Nexens bulge Laughing Seriously im with PD here i cant fault them at all. They came with brand new wheels and i was going to shed them with something better known but i have no reason to change them. I have done about 12k miles in them and they look hardly worn at all. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

@happym - The tyre walls are of the soft type but they don't bulge. The Nexen is a good quality tyre that - is serving us - and would serve the majority very well, no doubt at all.

They might be slightly noisier on the road but IMO you'd be talking splitting hairs noisier.

Most people who can get 4 brand new 20" Nexens on their car for approx £400 (or less or for free at the point of sale) should be very happy.

@Googsy - We've just hit 10k miles on the Nexens and they look almost new too Thumbs Up

@kurtv - I wouldn't have chosen these tyres through my ignorance at the time. I have given them a chance though and they have impressed.

I would 'probably' (because that's what I said) change to a different make when due because for road tyres, I'm a tried and tested fan of other make tyres, including Uniroyal Rainsport tyres which I think although a little less long lasting are superb tyres for the UK climate (roads) and I'd quite like to try them if the opportunity arises. Moot point as to which brand category the Uniroyal tyres are perceived to sit in and/ or if they are of the correct RR image either but if they were available, I wouldn't hesitate! Thumbs Up

Again, you're forever mixing things up.

I wonder how you dress - tweed jacket and tie top half, bikini bottoms and sandals lower half?

You're house, is it a mock tudor mansion at the front and a barn conversion at the back?

Kurt I told you not to talk about what we both wear in private Wink

To be honest I prefer having cars that will oversteer more like a rwd as I prefer to control it but the balance of the cars I have isn't too bad to be honest.

For most drivers they may not like it but for me it's fine.

How many cars don't even have the same pattern on each corner let alone across axles and pass mot'd and tct and stuff these days without being picked up much?!

The atr's just allow a bit more grip at the front end when offroad or in the snow which helps when crawling up things in slippery conditions with the fatty. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

If you can buy brand new Pirelli Scorpions from AJS Tyres at £120 a corner, as opposed to £100 a corner for Nexen or these Atturo, it's a no brainer though right? Discovery 4 HSE

If it was £20 a corner then yes, but here in Switzerland the Atturo's are nearly half the price of the Pirelli's.

We did have a load a while back at £120.00 plus vat each, all gone at present.

We do carry a good stock of all tyres to suite your needs however. Thumbs Up Andy....
