if you do get one, do fly it legally. the UK CAA rules are 50mtrs away from people, vehicles, buildings or structures.
there have been two prosecutions so far- one guy sold footage of a school fire and another guy flew his uav over a nuclear submarine testing base.
the one used here is an older model of this http://www.quadcopters.co.uk/dji-phantom-2...1379-p.asp

the picture is stabilised by a 3 way self stabilising gimbol that holds the camera and allows a tilt action.

there are comparisons of the vision2 plus and gopro setups and the v2+ gives better video especially with the new gimbal it has now.. ... - .- -.

I hadn't looked at the V+. the camera seems very capable but the gimbal seemed notchy and to gello when dipping or rising. that said if you didn't want the b4ll ache of building your own fpv system that's a very easy way to get in and a great price for the whole system. I spent about £300 more than that on my fist fpv rig and it's likely not as good ;/
