My Summer toy...

As others on here have done i've gone and got myself a cheap summer toy to play with lotus and the local Wilmslow toys..

Anyway done some work on it to correct an EML fault relayed to the wastegate controller, Charged the AC and given the outside a good wash and claymitt. next is to clean the interior out, some parts replacements, a new radio as the current one has lost its mind but for the price I paid I'm well chuffed.

Anyway she runs on either Tesco 99 or Shell Vpower and thats it but she is just a fun toy for road storming and some of the back roads near the airport are well worth it as she just holds on for dear life!

Tyres maybe moved to Yokohama Parada 2 or such like but they need stiff walls as soft walls could lead to a tyre leaving the rim....

And she rides about 1" too high allround so will be adjusted at some point soon when i get the chance to do it right Smile

She don't look fancy but she is pushing a decent amount of grunt at the minute due to past mods and makes some much more expensive and track biased cars think something is broke when she zips past them in corners Very Happy FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Thats the one Andy Smile

There is a youtube clip of one doing a 4 wheel drift on a track against 355's and the like but that is a euro one with the V6 engine. A few in the UK have converted thiers to V6 engines but its far too much money for me to spend on it and i know the tct engine can handle a decent amount of power, albeit with a smaller power band than a V6... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

That they do. I reckon at the moment its pushing 160-170bhp as they were quite undertuned as standard to have a flat torque curve as the engine was named the 2.0 CT, Constant Torque as it was more for cruising and the ARCS was for safety but as a track weapon they would be fun if they could be made a goo bit lighter... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
