. . . . Update: after a long period of "couldn't be botheredness""

Nice & warm here today Cool , so after seeing an identical car to mine yesterday with no tints - they had to go . . .
Easy job when the glass is warm.
I cut an "X" in the centre of the tint using a very sharp craft knife being careful not to scratch the glass. Then after opening up the X from the middle, pulled the tint out to the glass edge. Pulling the tint off at 90 degrees slowly brought the glue with it.
Any glue residue was removed with meths.

As it was so warm, I didn't need to resort to another heat source, but fell foul of this last year when I sorted the tailgate glass. That needed a heck of alot of meths.

I 'phoned Autoglass previously about this job who told me they charge more for removing tints that fitting them which says it all.

Range Rover floating roof restored -

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Absolutely, Stan - I'm a bit of a stickler for the original Range Rover design cues like the floating roof.
I do, however think certain colours suit tints more than others.
But my car in Buckingham blue with Lightstone interior looks massively improved without them . . . .

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

How do you not knacker the heating elements and glass aerials?

Dont really like my aftermarket tints and may have a go but a bit wary about not having a heated rear screen afterwards. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

^ In my case, NMJ, by default !
The tint on the tailgate started to ripple making vision through the mirror interesting. I removed this last year but as it was cool at the time, the tint came off but not the adhesive. This came off with a fair bit of meths and elbow grease.
The rear side window were nearly as bad as there two layers of tint !

For me, the car looks stacks better & returned to standard which is how I like it -
