I have never been into Football but have watched a few World Cup games .......which has reminded me why I don't like the game. Overpaid limp wristed, diving, play acting Gaylord's rolling round like they've had a limb severed with a rusty blade..which miraculously cures at the sound of a whistle. I won't be watching again until the referees are permitted to taser these play acting girls.

I shall be washing the car a lot more, far better than goofballs and perhaps watching some tennis with a light afternoon refreshment. 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts

I'm not into football. I wondered why there was lots of flags on cars and hanging out of windows.

Whenever I hear of them playing I always hope they will do well, but somehow it doesn't seem to happen.

I recon they should get paid £200 a week and then £10000 if they score a goal........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Dont be too hard! At least England are keeping up their 100% record of losing!

And Colleen got to top up her tan - for a couple of days at least!

Well, I tried my best.
Picked up jnr from Scouts returning home for the 2nd half so he could watch it.
It reminded me once again why I don't watch football.
What a complete farce.
The TV production was excellent - particularly the slo mo stuff. In every other sport, this emphasises the skill involved. If you watched the TT this is a case in point. In football, however, slo mo merely emphasises what a complete play acting farce it is.
Utter garbage.
Roll on the rugby world cup !

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Play acting apart from the Uruguay number 6 who accidentally caught a sickening knee blow to his temple and after apparently being unconscious on the pitch and coming round, somehow overruled medical staff and played on. If in doubt, get the straight jacket out!

Can't believe the officials let him play on.

On Sky News this lunchtime they said that it was Steven Gerrards 'back header' that helped Luis Suarez get his second goal! Do you think he may have thought that they were still playing for Liverpool?? Rolling with laughter

Laughing wasn't Gerrard's fault. The two English centre halfs switched off. England defence all over the place for much of the game... And the Uruguay keeper was excellent too although is their forgotten hero in the shadow of the brilliant footballer that Suarez is Thumbs Up
