With doing that kind of milage, out of interest do you prefer Pirellis over the Continentals? 2024 P550e Autobiography

When I saw his mileage it made me wonder, but it was open really as I probably do somewhere between 12/18K and was wondering if there was any reason to chose Pirelli over Conti.

The Conti's wear on the shoulders easily, the Pirellis seem to be more even and last longer, and I've never had any issues with Pirellis.

My main concern with cheap tyres is that if you went to Alton Towers & were being hurled about on some fantastic ride & it all went wrong because of some cheap material holding you to the track we would be up in arms. Tyres are your contact with the road (rails) who wants to take the risk with our loved ones, other road users or possibly least important ourselves to save a few pound ? who would do a bungee jump on a wong kang or would use the dunlop next door for your thrill!!!!!!!!!!!! Worse things happen at sea! Well thats what swmbo said when WRENS came to sea!!! |

Nexan have been making tyres since 1947 and are OEM on lots of vehicles around the world, they have only recently come onto the European market, had them on several cars and at the moment on SWMBO's 3.2 TT and I have to say they are better in every respect than a lot of known brands,

I had Nexen Roadians fitted by the main dealer. Only did the front 2 as a trial. Still got Continentals on the back.

I have to say you guys have me a bit worried with these comments and I have to say I put budget tyres on my Catlton years ago and nearly lost it in the wet on a roundabout |

nexens are fine... they do have a softer side wall and because of that they look slightly under pressure.. i had them on my td6 and except for a side wall blow out during off roading on salisbury plain they done me good.
