radio just died???

Evening all, new to the forum as I only collected my l322 vogue 4.4 2002 last night so please bear with me im a newbie. My stereo was working fine up until I finished work today and now none of the buttons seem to work? I can see the computer screen and navigate thru the other onscreen menus but for the life of me I can't get it to play a tape, cd or radio. The vehicle has a parrot fitted and this works fine although will only pay music and phone thru the drivers door speaker. Any ideas peeps?

Many thanks smiggy

Welcome to the wonderful world of FFRR and the random electrical gremlin activity. Starting point (unless there are no other obvious failures) is the Wiki on the site and the hard battery reset. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Just an update for futre reference, following the battery disconnect procedure in the WIKI pages cured the problem +1 to ebajema.

Many Thanks

It does seem that 99% of electrical issues can be resolved that way . It would be so much easier if there was a big reset button you could just push each time ! GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus
