IIDtool BT - Excellent

Bought myself an IIDtool BT and it is excellent and great service from Patrick in even the few days I have had it. Highly recommended. The only downside as far as I can see is it tells you what is wrong with the car....and now I will have to fix the darn thing Razz

AAM-Audio Amplifier (MOST)
B1A02-13 (2F) Speaker 2 circuit - General electrical failure - circuit open
B1A01-13 (2F) Speaker 1 circuit - General electrical failure - circuit open

IPC-Instrument Pack (HSCAN)
U0248-87 (2F) Lost communication with remote driver utility module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

TMC-Traffic Message (MOST)
B1A56-18 (2F) Antenna circuit - General electrical failure - circuit current below threshold

TVM-Television (MOST)
B1A00-48 (2F) Control module - System internal failure - supervision software failure

Odd thing is the TV is working seemingly fine so really not sure what the last one is talking about. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography

Thanks Stan,

I am wondering if the CCF has the Venture Cam enabled when the car has never had one. The last time someone plugged in the car was all over the place on CCF so maybe this is something that was missed.

I believe there is a fairly common fault on the TMC antenna and will do some searching on that but am fairly certain I have read posts about that in the past.

the IIDtool is a very clever bit of kit though, particularly with the iPad functionality. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography

We’ve seen cases, including our 2007 RR, where wires under the passenger seat were damaged dues to rubbing on a metal bracket. Might be worth looking but it will require removing the seat.

Hi,

In which error did you find the undersea cables causing an issue. I do know mine has had some work under there as the plastic cover has some damaged fixings.

We were looking for something else but found out that this was related to our speaker issue. There are plenty of wires under the seats and they can rub on a metal plate or other if not routed correctly.
