Very sorry to hear that Stuempf. Don't beat yourself up about the steering lock mate. Locks and security devices are great at keeping honest people out but non of them will prevent a criminal from getting what he/she wants. They just slow them down "a little"

My Insurance broker told me when I was doing my renewals that Allianz will no longer insure the LS405 without a tracker device being fitted...not surprising really when you hear stories like this The forums premier drug dealer and human trafficking consultant

How did they get past the transponder system - I thought only the entry system part of the key could be added to the car via a diagnostic. |

Gutted for you. Tracker unit would seem to be only course to possibly avoid this, the steering lock would only delay them a few minutes. |
