Coolant copper flakes

Hello all,
I went to check my coolant level yesterday but I have no idea what this copper flake stuff is.
Is the antifreeze? I've only ever seen the red/orange or the blue.

Looks like rusty water due to too little or no antifreeze to me.... Pete

Just to be safe, drain the system as much as possible and refill with new. Original coolant is expensive but not having it in can be very expensive as well (and in this case I unfortunately speak from bad experience myself, although in my case they put pure water in without asking me !!!). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Rust is more of a copper sludge colour, if it's flakes then my guess would be K-Seal that some dork has put into the coolant to solve a leak in the system or cylinder head fault...

Full and thorough flush including back flush to remove all that crap, then refill with the correct coolant and keep a close eye on the levels
