I have to add my experience of life here.

When I was a heavy goods driver back in the 80's I was doing a lot of work for sainsburys distribution depots and on one particular day I stopped for some lunch at one of there depots.

What a mistake that turned out to be , ate some Shepherds pie, later on that day on my way back to the yard I was feeling extremely ill.

Ended up in hospital that night and was in a real mess ( and I don't mean I messed myself )

A two week stay in hospital ( long story short ) I was told I had Botulism poisoning and was lucky to still be here , they told me this the day I was discharged.

As you can probably imagine I am extremely careful and over the top when it comes to food that is out of date and burger vans on the side of the road.

The Boss is a chef so she is well clued up on what is off or not , prime example , just over a week ago ( now I love Walls sausages ) it was sausage sarni for breakfast and these sausages where one day out , well the Boss said they were fine and she happily munched her sarni , now me , they had this extremely slight funny taste about them and that was it , in the bin they went. Big Cry

Just one of life's experiences that has made me extremely cautious when it comes to out of date food. Thumbs Up

Cheers
