oils ???

Hi I have just joined the club and brought a 2006 RR SC with 68k. It come with a BRC LPG kit fitted and runs great.
the last owner who brought it new had a land rover service history done up to 44k and can not prove the next service so i knocked him down to 11800.

So i have change engine oil and filter, pollen filter, Air filter, both diff oils, break fluid, and will be doing the auto box filter and oil along with the steering fluid.

My question is should the auto box & PAS fluid be red oil or a yellow colour? when i check it seems most of the oils have to be a special blend, i assume this is due to seal for life ( Warranty).

the transfer box oil is going to be 50 pounds from the main stealer, is this a special oil also?

I will get some pics and upload, as i love this RR

regards
Lee

Not sure on the colour, but the auto box oil is quite specific. NEEDS to be the right ZF fluid/LR fluid, the transfer box also needs to be the right 'special' fluid from landrover, so do the diffs though they are a branded oil. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I think it's......

1) GM 5 speed in TD6
2) ZF 5 speed in BMW 4.4V8
3) ZF 6 speed in AJV8 2006 4.2 SC
