Degree warning

Every time i am out and about a message flashes up on the dash ( ping ) 4 degrees , always bloody 4 degrees never 3 degrees nor 2 degrees , always ( ping ) 4 degrees does this happen to anyone else , beginning to think the friggin brain in the car only recognise's ( ping ) 4 bloody degrees ............ Confused

The geniuses at LR think this temperature triggers all sorts of natural dangers that you must be warned of... Would love to shut it as it always scares me, I think some fault is signalled....

Mine pings at 4 or lower

ie If I start it and it 4 deg its pings then no other warnings same if its 3 or lower one ping and its gone Thumbs Up

My problem is that it's the same "Ping" sound as the speed warning, so driving along when the temp drops always has me quickly glancing at the speedo, assuming the speed has crept up again.

I presume it's because fog and black ice can form below that temp, although a Vauxhall I had gave you a warning below 2 Deg C, so it doesn't seem to be a universally recognised temperature.

Mine 'pings' at 3C. and under. Assuming climate change continues its present path in this country, we're going to be deafened by the bloody warning over the coming years! Rules are made for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.
