It can work the navigation too if you want it too on later cars. I never had much success with it, it doesn't like my tone or accent and it doesn't like you to swear at it, it remains obstinately silent when you do that! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I don't have one to start with Scarey so that would confuse it even more, I'm an expat from Portsmouth....... 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Hopefully it won't be too long until I am also residing north of the border and away from here!

2006 Voice Recog was ok, but was for ever showing me the ferry port for some reason!

2010 much better and actually hardly ever gets it wrong Smile Also the new nav is great, love the way it now speaks place names on exits, and warns you of toll booths, ferries etc Very Happy Land Rover Addict

Mick, Nobody WANTS to live in the Sarf, they HAVE to for work. Don't get me wrong there are some truly wonderful places to live down south but you have to pay silly prices to buy property in them and at the weekend they get mobbed by folks who "come down to the country from town" every weekend to their holiday homes they paid millions for. I can get from the centre of Edinburgh to home or from the middle of Glasgow to home on a Friday evening in an hour........................ it would take me a minimum of 2.5 hours to get from Central London (if I were prepared to pay the congestion charge) by road on a Friday night - longer if it's a sunny weekend forecast!
We also have property up here most folks can afford to buy in their lifetime too! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
