I had mine at 200 kph during my little Easter trip to Hamburg and back and it is scary how easy it is to get to that speed and more. Just nudging the throttle at that speed made it surge again. I stopped due to the fact there was still some traffic about and close to the Dutch border (coming back) not all drivers are used to such speeds and may do stupid things.

It is great to feel such a capable car being unleashed !! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Agree Eugene, took a trip from my home near Maidstone to Folkestone last weekend (about 50 miles way), on the motorway, no traffic on the inside lane, Porsche Boxster hogging the middle lane. Stuck behind him for not very long and got bored....unleashed the S/C and in seconds he was dust in the distance. I think that is the essence of the 5.0 SC, it looks like a brick and goes like a tent on fire

I find it amazing how JLR has been able to make a car so sophisticated and powerful and versatile and beautiful without seeming to compromise on anything. It of course doesn't handle like a sportscar nor a Cayenne but that is because it is still a full blown 4x4 as well as everything else.

I can't wait to have it here in Malaysia (I chased a Cayenne Turbo on the B-King the other day getting 180 kph when I realized that my exit was getting very near very quickly) and do some on and off roading. There is just nothing like a Range Rover in the world that can match the breadth of capabilities. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
