That's not as obscure as it sounds. I remember once reading in the paper in the mid 1990s that someone had done just that... Tym

If it sticks, force it. If it breaks, it needs replacing anyway.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Years ago, I knew a chap who run a car audio business. He had a mk2 XR2 with the plate AUD10.

It was not his plate, but the fines he used to get when caught using it were less than the plate would have cost.

Not sure how that worked but that's what he did. Prob good for business marketing too.

It was about 1993. Not sure you could do it now. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Back in 1988/89 an elderly chap bought a brand new Lada from his local main dealer in Ripley, Derbys. Shortly after, two fellas turned up at his house. They paid him what he paid for the car - and, if my memory serves me, enough for another new Lada. The matter was reported to the local Police as suspicious.
The VRM on the Lada he sold was - F40 GTO.
Guess what Ferrari brought out that year . . .

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

I was overtaken on the M40 this weekend (sorry, I was only going very fast) by RR5 2 FAT on a RRS. Maybe he is confused, or really wants a FFRR Question
