Castlemaine XXXX don't do Range Rovers

After [another] 7 week absence from the SC it was ready to be returned by the garage today so back went the spanking new Jag XF in exchange for the RR.

Read a few posts lately on people looking at this car and that as potential replacements for the RR and have contemplated it myself due to the issues we've had with this one. For all that, as soon as you get in and set off, you are reminded exactly what "the pull" of these cars is, both literally and regarding the driving experience.

Castlemaine don't do 4x4 vehicles but if they did, they wouldn't give a XXXX about the competition!

Thumbs Up

Just had a call from a friend who read my last post. He said "Are you not getting confused with Carlsberg?"

Probably!

Us too Craig, cheers. Thumbs Up

Alan, the XF is a very good car, don't get me wrong. Given the choice between the two though? Apples and pears.

Anyway, it's Mrs pld's and she - rightly or wrongly - has the XF down as "an old man's car".

The feline LED headlight units on the later XF are very smart though Wink Thumbs Up
