Still haven't found an early vogue that fits the bill Sad on the other hand found a pic from 2007 when we travelled from Sheffield to Penzance to pick him up....

@ TugRR the materiel they are sitting on is called vet bed and there is a double layer of it so its supper soft and comfy , our hounds are like members of the family and get nothing but the best we con provide Laughing

If you come into this house ( not that many do ) be prepared to be slimed Rolling with laughter

Unfortunately due to the big fella ( the one at the back of the picture ) well we nearly lost him in november to bloat , they worked on him for over six hours to pump his stomach out and being an 11 year old dog it took over 3 months for him to recover ….. well it was only just under 4 weeks ago and half an hour after the boss had got in from work , his stomach blew up like a balloon ( really long winded story so won't bore everyone with it ) but we had to rush him to the vet at 10.30 at night where they did a major operation on him and it was touch and go as to weather he would survive but his stomach is now stitched to the wall of his body so if he bloats again the stomach can't twist as his stomach had twisted before the operation and once that happens everything gets cut off and there is only a certain amount of time before it kills the dog but we are doing everything possible to get him better , can only hope that he is going to recover and to top it all we have had to cancel this years holiday in the New Forest which is based around the hounds as the big fella won't be fit enough Big Cry Big Cry

Hope I haven't done anyones head in with this post Embarassed

. . . Feel for there, Muttley - anyone reading your last with a dog would understand.
Someone in our village lost a 7yr old flat coated retriever last year in

the manner you describe - horrible.

There's no doubt alot of love is in your dogs - don't know what we'd do without ours

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Thank you TuggRR

We had Weimaraners before this bread and we lost one of them at the age of 7 and that was bloat , died in the wife's arms screaming on the way to the vets , one of the most horrible experiences I have ever been through Big Cry

To be total honest love them more than people Thumbs Up
