Tim - sorry for off topic but I have a set of Genuine OEM RRS HST Stormers for sale but with 275 40 20 Contis in excellent condition, no kerb scuffs - just put them FS on the RRS site but will add an ad on here and D3 site in case anyone knows anyone - already have Martin permission etc and made a donation

they say 255/50/20's are best but i wanted to keep the smooth ride so i went up to 285's there is a 3% difference but the sport size 275/40/20 is 4 % so i got these chunky tyres to try out, gt radial its a chinese tyre so i'm not sure about them lasting but we'll see, you can use this site to check for compatable tyre sizes

i can answer that tim, 255/50/20 is the standard FFRR 20'' size, the tyre size that comes on the RRS is 275/40/20....obviously the FFRR size doesnt affect the speedo but the RRS size does , so at 70mph the RRS tyres will be rolling at 67mph.... ... - .- -. Y. O. L. O. . |
