They look nastier than a dose of the clap Evil or Very Mad don't do it , you will have to remove the little flaps to fit them because there is no where for them to fit inside the roof rack foot .
I have had some experience of roof racks recently and your options are limited but that is no solution I would go near with a barge pole and as said above they would be noisy as well . 2008 MY Supercharged

I actually fancy the OEM rails and crossbars and there are quite a few OEM quality copies out there now.

Quite like these, especially for only £155 delivered.

Can you get the OEM cross bars separately? My Vogue has roof rails, but didn'rt come with the cross bars, and the previous owner denied all knowledge of them Big Cry 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

It looks like it, yes. See below.

BTW, would you mind posting up a picture of your car with the track rails fitted please? Just want to get an idea before I commit. Ta.

I bought some of the OEM copies recently , same as the ones Powerfull and some fleebay sellers sell and they are definitely not OEM quality anymore . The fitting have been cheapened quite a lot and the end caps simply brake off trying to fit them and there is no way to make a repair to reattach them . This is bad enough but the roof bars no longer have enough adjustment to move up and down the track so can only stay at the either ends, one is too short to move forward and the other too long to go back . I tried to remove them and found out that the changes to the design of the bars foot means it catches on the end caps and can't come out Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Big Cry So I remove the six bolts and take the whole thing off and look at the six holes in my roof where the flaps were and feel just a bit Censored off .

This is how mine was delivered with one of the small tabs holding the end cap on broken off , by the time I had fitted and tried to adjust the bars they all bar one had broken off.

I replaced it with a Rhino Rack system which is fantastic and massively better than any thing by Thule but it has to stay on because I cut the flaps off even though the Rhino system can accommodate the flaps inside the feet .
And now available in the UK (not cheep though)

I have a question about roof bars that I hope someone can answer for me. I know there are three mounting points on the roof where the roof rails are bolted onto. I'm not keen on permanently removing the plastic flaps for these mounting points so would rather attach roof bars directly to the mounting points. Are the middle and front mounting points in the correct position to use a large Thule roof box? Or will I have to go with the roof rails and roof bars combination in order to get the positioning just right for the roof box.

I'm guessing that the roof bars supplied in the kit from ebay / powerful UK can only be used on the roof rails and don't come with a mounting kit so you can bolt them directly onto the roof?

TIA.
