Hi Guys
Hope someone in the know can help me with this age old L322 topic.
I have a 2006 TD6 Vogue
If I drive the car every single day the car will restart fine the next, if I go a day without driving the car, as you do, it will not have enough battery power to turn over
There are many topics involving changing the air con final resistor unit, and also the now obsolete YNI500040k WIRING KIT to stop the tiny fan running on behind the little grill on the hevac panel.
there is also a lot of mention with this affecting 2004MY cars and certain chassis ranges
My question is I have a 6A car 2006MY. Were these faults still relevant to my late model year car?
I can here the little fan grating away behind the dash when I listen down by the clock but haven't monitored how long it stays on for yet as I have heard that even opening the doors to the car activates this device, and many saying it wouldn't have enough in it to drain a battery to that extent anyway.
Can anyone shed any light as to wether this is still relevant on a 2006MY car as it seems changing the hedgehog near the footwell does not often remedy battery drain issues but changing the now obsolete harness cures the problem along with replacement relays? Which does not help me if I can no longer purchase the fix for my car and im certainly not forking out for a new hevac unit at many hundreds of pounds when I may be looking in the completely wrong area?
