Ohh ffs!

Transfer box leaking again! Was only sealed up (taken out, split, and redone) at the end of last year. I cant think how it could be losing seal so quickly! Appears to be leaking from the same joint, fortunately hunters did it so it will be claimed for under their 12 month guarantee

I bet they didnt leave it to cure fully before filling it up.

Anyone else had such a persistent problem with the transfer box? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

guessing here, does this have a breather pipe? is it blocked?

I tend to use my low range quite a bit when we arrive on a camp site with the tintent. Mainly as it keeps it low speed and is easier for manouvering, but years ago on a LR offroad course I was told that it was good to use the transfer box a bit to make sure it keeps working ? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I do cycle it on and off quire often, so there isnt a problem with it engaging, just seeping. Will get them to check the breather though. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
