I would suggest Min-Y-Don in Harlech but if you don't want to see statics, avoid it. That said, the tourer section is away from the statics and the park is immaculate. There is no entertainment on site and its right next to the beach.

Harlech is quite some distance from Llandudno (or at least it was 2 days ago when I was last up there!!!)

A55 is good, as long as there are no roadworks or jams / accidents

As you rock and roll round the corners on the A5 ....when I used to tow the Landy 90 to Ireland the A55 was always the better option as it was quicker and only 30 odd miles longer difference between Wrexham/ Llangollen roundabout too the Bangor one stop roundabout, via the 55, but a much smoother ride! If it dont work.......burn it!
