Might Downgrade rather than Upgrade

Have been eyeing up a 4.2 SC and swithering whether to downgrade from the TDV8 rather than Upgrade ... L405's have to admit not entirely taken with it ... And for what i would pay to get one and watch it depreciate i could buy myself another Flat to rent out ...

And i have always fancied a FF with a bodykit on it Rolling Eyes

The 4.2 i have seen has been modified by Khan Embarassed Embarassed but i really quite like the look of it ... internally and externally ..

Only stumbling block is the price £16k for an 06 ... bit on the expensive side methinks

Granted it has been advertised for a few months maybe he might accept an offer for it ... Laughing ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

And there was me thinking that the 4.2 was going out of fashion for the 5 0 !

What's to say a later L322 wouldn't present problems in need of address.

I keep coming back to the answer that if it's not the L405, what's the point in paying thousands more for what will still be - 2010MY revisions aside - "the old shape" RR.

I don't think most people are too bothered about or know the age of, for example, a private plated RR. It's just a RR!

I've also often been tempted to buy older, leggier RR albeit "facelift converted" ones being sold by Gary Elliot because they look so smart and look like great VFM.

Will a Khan bodykit on an 06 look dated quicker than stock (suppose if you like it that's what matters)?

Thumbs Up

Don't think the Khan bodykit will make it look anymore dated than what it is , plus when i previously had the 4.2 SC before the TDV8 i couldn't fault it , it was a great motor Thumbs Up ====================================

My opinion of Kahn (and not Khan, which is a subtle but very important difference (to them, so I'm told)), is that they modify cars to appeal to a specific section of British society. The fact they're based in Bradford should give you a clue as to what section that is! Whistle

if you recall, my neighbour bought a Kahn sport about a couple of years ago in white, quilted leather, body kit, big wheels etc, whiach actually suited him, but then he also wears blingy Armani watches..........

The quality of the kit was shoddy and the fit looked like it had been done by Stevie Wonder, blindfolded, in the dark with his hands tied behind his back.

I wouldn't, but it's your money.

Overfinch would be my preferred modifier Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Hi Joker, just reduced mine to £13950 following a quick sale that fell through at last minute due to finance, you can see pictures posted previously.

What's the mileage on that John please, sorry if I've missed it elsewhere and sorry if it looks like Joker's thread is being HJ (looks v similar externally to our SC although we don't have mudflats)?

Thanks.

Hi, Currently 73k. I bought it 3 years ago, one private owner before me, FSH and very good condition. Has been a great car which replaced a RRS that I had before, now moving on to new FFRR. + Defender 90 Charger Black
