Excellent! I just sold my M5 touring to get into an FF and thought I'd taken a step into a LESS reliable car! Thumbs Up

They give the rr a reliability rating of 412. With the Q7 in 10th place with 470, so not sure how many cars in between......

Shame, I quite fancied an RS6 or another M5 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I don't doubt that the Land Rover products were probably quite near the bottom..... but not the bottom 10 Rolling with laughter Whistle

Pretty bad for Mercedes Benz though - glad I have no desire to own any of their vehicles Whistle Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

Some cars are just getting too complicated for their own good.

I had a 6 speed manual box in one of my M5's and that didn't need all of those. That was nearly 20 years ago........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I rather suspect the apparant unreliability of the RS6, is/was the DRC system, which was notoriously troublesome. I don't think they use that system any longer.
Also with the M5, I guess it's the E60's habit of chewing through SMG gearboxes.......... Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Not being an avid follower of the 3 pointed start, I wonder if these all share common issues, or is it just that the onwers expect more? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

My parents rather affluent friend's always had 'his and hers Mercedes', new ones every 3 years from the mid 1980's including around 6 S class, a few SL class, various CLK's, ML's etc and they vowed never to buy another when they had serious issues with a 2006 S class and a number of issues with an ML of a similar vintage - he now has an L405 and the wife just changed an X5 to a new shape Range Rover Sport Whistle Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
