Hmm. Dover is only an hour away. Need to check if those are cross contacts!

Thanks! I had a look on their specials page but there weren't any there. I'll PM him to see if there's anything he can do

Just bought the set of 20" 2011 Supercharged Rims on Ebay. Little bit of a haggle and kept the tyres on - if they're rubbish I'll get them replaced!

Happy right now - now to decide whether I keep or sell the 19" and Grabbers..

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Thanks Stan!

I took the car out for a spin today and had a bit of fun going round the roundabouts and down the circular exit at Bluewater shopping centre - I was actually very impressed at how well the FF got stuck in once you got it settled in a corner - but you could tell the tyres were all over the place - you could almost feel the sidewalls bending.

Pushed me over the edge into getting these asap!

Drivers skill has a fair amount to do with it as well. Here's me offroad on a 45 degree upslope that has a deep puddle before it:

And here was my first attempt where I didn't hit the loud pedal early enough:

Both of these were on winter road tyres, although the front left was my quite worn spare tyre (3-4mm of tread).

Can't you get Dick Dastardly in on the act and pilfer some?

Huge wacky races fan - and muttley was by far my favourite..

Fortunately I was there on a private day with a club and we only had around 15-20 vehicles on the 110 acre site, so got to use nearly a full tank of fuel during the day and covered a huge distance. I got told off several times by the marshalls for taking my car on Red and Black routes which apparently "are for vehicles fitted with off-road tyres only". I skipped the rock crawl sections but otherwise never struggled apart from that first attempt at that steep hill, and the only issue was wet tyres and lack of speed. About 10 other people had gone up that hill first so it was very wet and slippy. I also found out that HDC works in reverse too, which is just awesome. You can go and try anything and if you get it wrong, stick the car in reverse, take your feet off the pedals and descend slowly and carefully. Best part of the day was when a guy with a V8 defender said he was filming me but couldn't keep up!

Was I alone in basically just wanting Dick and Muttley to win? Much the same when it came to Wil-e-coyote - I really wanted him to get that effing bird..
