I had exactly the same problem and still do , there is a thread on here describing how to do it , from what I read you need to shave some off the right hand side of the battery for it to fit , will get mine sorted one day but was worried about the warranty |

Mine fitted - needed a crowbar to get the leverage to slide it across, but the terminal went on Ok - TDV8 though |

and unfortunately there are a few threads of people having multiple failures of this same battery , me personally haven't had any issues with mine but saying that my FF doesn't go very far and doesn't go out that often and thinking about what I have just written it shows that it has performed really well for nearly a year so far |

It's tight but it does fit you might have to reroute the negative cable but should fit as is. I have a TDV8 2008 and it fits perfectly although tight |

Replaced mine with Bosch S5 110 Ah 6 months ago and no problems since. A bit fiddly if you have the explosive charge device on the +ve terminal. Finally had to cut the RH lip off the battery and then a very snug fit. Downside is probably that the warranty would be invalid? |

^+1. Had to remove the lip off the battery but went in fine after that. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The easy way to get the bigger battery in is to temporarily remove the red lead that bolts through the bulkhead, the battery will now slip in without any problem |
