The crash pilot (Roy) is a local friend of mine and he has spent much time in plaster/bandages these last couple of years. It's not like he doesn't know about motorsport design safety as he regularly competes in proper rallying. Perhaps the idea of a roll cage is just too safety conscious for him so he prefers to throw himself down hills in a wooden box with pram wheels and no brakes on it!!! I have spent 2 years trying to organise a soap box event in Sheffield, it is now being held in May 2011.
