Hi,

I ordered my car in Nov last year with an expected delivery date of March/April.

In Feb, my build date was pushed back to 09 Apr 14.

I am still waiting and have not got a definitive delivery date from Land Rover.

I only ask because it is the first LR I have ordered and with BMW/Audi/Porsche they have been able to let me know delivery date at order within a day or two.

I understand that cars get delayed. But not to know when it will arrive is vexing me somewhat!

Any experiences?

Ordered mine November, collected 19th April.... Dealer kept me informed exactly where it was , when built, when called in, when arrived and when was getting pdi/valenting etc

I spoke to the dealer today.

It's on a transporter and should arrive early next week to pick up later in the week.

Car is apparently STILL on a transporter. This Solihull must be further away than I thought.

I don't want to worry you but my 2010 went missing for a week in transit. When I took delivery I noticed that it had suffered some rear end damage that had been repaired (poorly). I reckon this is why it took so long because they were repairing some transit damage. I suggest you give it a very thorough look over before you accept it. I had to reject mine and reorder.

I really like that colour but side blades in any colour but body colour spoil the look of the car in my view. It just breaks up the flow of the side and makes the car look shorter.
