Worn spokes

The spokes were worn and rubbed on the corners so I thought surely these would paint Cool so after removal of the steering wheel which is a doddle the hard part was prising the spokes apart which was a little tricky after 10 years together Neutral finally apart you'll find they've got a rubbery film over the fronts so sand down then a bit of wet and dry, wipe with cloth leave to dry for five mins, I put the primer and silver cans to warm up standing in the sink of hot water to give a better spray, after three coats of aluminium and two lacquer leave to dry for an hour then press back onto the steering wheel and bobs your uncle at a fraction cost, you could wrap if you desire as well Thumbs Up

Look good.

I have the replacement spokes to fit just haven't got round to taking the airbag off to fit them, plus I can't decide on a new steering wheel as well. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
