Am I mad

Is 67k miles too much for a 2011 4.4 hse?its €58g

That's 6g less than same car with only 30k miles.

All from dealer with full service history.

Probably keep at least 3 years.

Id do bout 8k year

Thoughts appreciated.

Nasty question dear Lolo, being mad, is a very vague discription of non acceptable and non adapted behaviour. Spending that amount of money on heavy metal on wheels could, apart from the people on this site, be seen as non adapted behaviour. But if you have the cash to spend, just go for it! By the time you sell the car it will have a fullfat 90 k miles on the clock and a nice depreciation. The 6 k more now might be a good investment by the time you sell. It might also be worthwile to look overseas.
Wish you strength

Thanks for input.
Unfortunately these are the prices here. Going abroad not going to happen for various reasons. It's a tough one cause cheaper at the outset but might have to get more repairs down the line. Then again the 30k hse is in getting turbo fixed so problems arise at any stage. Rolling Eyes

I do not know your market but here in France i just missed a 2011 4.4 Vogue with 100.000 km (62.000 miles) One owner, uber clean, FLRSH for 35.000 euros.

A 2012 HSE then showed up for 38.500 and was gone within 2 weeks (I do not want and HSE)

These were great deals as you'll find them at dealers for 10 000 euros more, so I think 'your' deal isnt that great really. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Yes it's difficult to predict anything but not very plentiful here. There are only two 2011 vogues and two 2011 hse available in the country so not much choice really..
They range from €70,000 for vogue with 30k miles to Hse 67k miles €58,000

I'm wanting to trade my 2013 volvo in before it depreciates any more. It's still 'fresh' as they say.

Why can you not buy from the mainland & drive it home Lolo? Is it a tax thing?

Tax (vrt) and car finance.. I'm a housewife with baby and 3 year old, no time and my brains are fried with them..
Hubby can't be ar$ed.. Also would want to be able bring back to dealer should problems arise which they more or less will !

Last question , I promise !

Got more information on the 57k miles HSE- it was owned and used by the Aga Khan studs estate it has a towbar attached so was used for towing horses I assume. So would all that towing make you stay away from buying this?

I would rather have a car that had been towing horses over a car that had been towing industrial stuff.
With the horses in tow you would be pulling away slowly and braking gently. You would not be cornering hard either.
I would rather it hadn't towed but if it were just horses I think it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. Previously..
