Finally got round to doing this. Originally I had walnut. Hardest bits where the vents either side of the dash due to the curvature.Still have tops of door bins and rear centre console to do. I'm very happy with the results cost 30 quid and a bit of patience

Did you do the wrapping in-situ or take the parts off the FFRR to wrap them? There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Thanks chaps. All parts removed from car much easier and allows you to wrap around back of trim for more secure fitting. With wrap you do get a slight orange peel finish that's unavoidable. Good news is it's all reversible I'm really impressed how it's turned out though two tips heat and stretch  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

Bought from a company called carwrapdirect. Its a higher end wrap thats bubble free and has lifespan of up to 10 years when used on interiors. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Looks really good.

First and foremost use something like surgical spirit to rub down piece of trim to remove any polish etc. Straight pieces are easy. I practiced on those to refine my technique. After a few pieces I was wrapping like M.C Hammer Key is to apply enough heat not too much a bit at a time on each section this allows the wrap to become pliable and it can then be stretched over curves etc. Having the confidence to stretch the vinyl is key on items such as the dash ends as these are more prone to rippling etc . Overall though I think it was easy having never wrapped before  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I was trying to remove door cards but give up. I take it if I just undo screw either side of door pocket on door cards I should have enough access to remove screws holding strip that runs along top of door pocket? Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
