IIDTool BT - Owners impressions

Hi,

I am in the market for a diag tool and have been pointed in the direction of the IIDTool.

I have looked through the the features and what is supported on my 06MY but I am now just swimming in facts. Can anybody who owns one please give me a little feedback on it. Have you noticed any functionality, that you would need, missing? Does it do all you were expecting? Is it easy to use. Has anybody tried the beta of the iPad app? Are GAP quick to provide sport and release firmware updates?

I just want to make the best purchase I can really so any help is much appreciated.

IIDTool is a great piece of gear. As for backup their after sales service is second to none . Very quick to respond.

Steve, did you get yourself sorted sir? If not, I'm only a couple of junctions down the motorway with a Beta unit you can play with and test out its features before making your mind up...

Hi Craig,

Yes I have thanks plumed for a BT version for my 06MY and Patrick has popped me on the beta programme too, can't use the ipad app just yet though so I have to wait for V3 of the firmware for my vehicle...

Cheers for the offer of a play with your Pro version it is much appreciated. Just thought I would let you know that I think my suspension issues are sorted now. Replaced the compressor and used the IIDTool to update the ECU software. Fingers crossed that's is! Thanks for all the help, especially during your lunch hour!
