heater stuck in hot, sometimes. -tips? where to look first.

chaps, car is 2002 RHD v8 I have a heater problem. blows hot ok, and sometimes turns to cold ok, when asked, but not always. seems to be sticking. im sure its one of those external mini motors, that needs a helping hand. but which one I ask? ive had a search here already. nothing except a fuse 'out and in' trick. I will try that next time its hot. (fuse 82 in rear)
aircon is gassed and is certainly working ice cold sometimes. just not all the time. knowing what side to dismantle and test is a start....anyone seen a diagram, or is familiar. hoping its not the dash out.........cheers guys/gals.

Can't help directly I'm afraid, but have you downloaded RAVE ? It's the land rover workshop manual. There is a link in the wiki I believe.

It will detail how it all works and show methods of repair, so you can see what's what. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
