Mine lives just to the left of the rear view mirror, about 3 inches from the top. Works fine.

For the French autoroutes - stick them on your windscreen then they charge you afterwards

Welcome to France! I put mine in the little corner right against the top of the windscreen and against and to the left of the base of the rear view mirror, very discreet, you can't see it from the outside and you hardly notice it from the inside and it works fine. |

After extensive consulation here, fitted mine and works a treat. BUT oh BUT! Got swmbo to fit the sticky bit which she did and it is not at all straight, just plain wonky. Aaaargh. Will have to refit, but let me tell you; the glue is seriously strong... |
