I had a static IP address when I was with BE, so I could access my home CCTV system easily using it's static IP address.

Moved to Sky and they don't do static IP, so I had to go down the DynDNS route, expect it's not free any more, unless you already had an account. It works a treat when you use the DynDNS domain name to access any home resource. Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I thought I was going to have to get a static ip for my security camera but I was told about noip.com and just use their free service.... It's good being able to see what's going on using a mobile or iPad. Previously..
