Errr, the static IP has nothing whatever to do with how your email services are set up...

Why bother with a static IP when you can get a free DyDNS name setup?

For what you describe email wise Mick, what you need to do is have your mailboxes setup as IMAP instead of POP3, that way the changes would replicate across all devices quite easily.

That was the reason for asking as an IT guy from a company up here told me that would be the best route to go down
