I haven't, my whole centre console is full of second HEVAC gubbins and I can barely get my wallet under the lid 2008 MY Supercharged

my D3 had it and tbh it was rubbish as a fridge, more a 'slightly cooler than cabin' - ok for keeping kids choc and sweets cool in the summer but thats about it ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

It's just the air con blowing in it to keep it cool, not a fridge (which is an optional extra for the back I think). I would have thought if the air con is not on/working it won't do anything. |

Sounds right - It doesn't stay cold when the engine is off - not really a fridge , more of a cool box |

My 2009 RRS had a 'coolbox' centre console. My 2010 VSE doesn't. The cubby box is where the i-pod and USB ports are. They were in the top glove box in the RRS. Do miss the cool box tho. Kept the water cool and you could ust about squeeze a pastie in there too. |

so, how does the cool box work then? ie does it get cold when ever the A/C is on, or only when the rear is on?

Really looked for this when i was looking for mine but seemed rare , can they be fitted afterwards are they per wired etc (I mean a switched one not an Ac one) |
