OK its Super Glue and fillers , one thing I know from 20 years of boat building the quicker it sets the quicker it falls off .I was mealy musing that as Kingpleb said gaffer tape would give a quick idea if there was a feasible home fix . 2008 MY Supercharged

Have seen 2 in the past year - so not too bad i guess have seem more fragile parts if you keep running on "restricted" the damage to dpf might be beyond repair and that will be the highest price you will pay forget the duct tape idea (will not work due shape and pressures) |

what was the outcome of this one? did you view the split whilst still on the vehicle without taking anything off, if so where was it? Cheers

I used this on the plastic inlet manifold on my Mercedes, when I removed the swirl flaps... it's still there and withstanding major turbo pressure, which is more than can be said for the intercooler hose....that exploded the other week

this is the only other ref to 4.4 intake split i can find, anyone else know of any? other than Buzzs! Cheers
